Over the weekend, the Gaming Board for The Bahamas (Bimini Office) hosted an action-packed heartwarming Community Service Weekend, bringing together team members and community partners to promote health, wellness, and giving back. The event was filled with meaningful moments, fostering community spirit and connection.
The weekend kicked off with a free walkathon and mini health fair, where residents had the opportunity to engage in physical activity and receive important health screenings and advice. Afterward, breakfast was served to over 150 community members, ensuring a nourishing start to their day.
In a special show of care and appreciation, team members also visited Bimini’s precious pearls – the elderly, sharing warm conversations while delivering breakfast to them. These moments of fellowship were a reminder of the importance of honoring and supporting our seniors.
The weekend concluded with a Father’s Day tribute, where we donated commemorative mugs to all the churches in Bimini, celebrating the dedicated fathers who play such a vital role in the community.
This event was made possible with the incredible support of our community partners, including the Bimini Clinic, Hilton at Resorts World Bimini, and the Royal Bahamas Police Force. Their dedication and collaboration helped make this initiative a success, demonstrating that when we come together, we can create a lasting impact.
