January 2025 to March 2025| Grand Bahama

The holiday season is a time for generosity, togetherness, and compassion. At the Gaming Board for The Bahamas’ Grand Bahama Office, we embraced that spirit by hosting our annual Food Drive in support of the Cummings Young Temple AME pantry. With the collective efforts of our team members, we gathered and donated essential food items to help provide meals for families in need during this special time of year.

On hand to present the donation were Officer in Charge, Assistant Secretary Kaylesa Simmons, and Manager - Second (OIC F), Deltalee Russell, along with Pastor Hudson Williamson. The warm smiles and gratitude we received served as a powerful reminder that small acts of kindness can have a lasting impact.

“This time of year is about coming together as a community,” said Assistant Secretary Simmons. “We’re happy to do our part to make things a little easier for those in need.”

This experience reinforced our commitment to giving back—not just during the holidays, but throughout the year. Supporting our neighbors is a responsibility we take seriously, and we look forward to continuing this tradition of kindness and generosity in the years to come.

Together, we’re making a difference, one act of kindness at a time.
